In a groundbreaking initiative, Zypp Electric is set to revolutionize the green mobility sector by deploying over 2,000 women rider partners within the next 12 months. Timed with the celebration of International Women’s Day, this commitment aims not only to increase female representation but also to empower women in the growing field of electric vehicle (EV) transportation.
As part of this initiative, Zypp Electric is dedicated to onboarding a substantial number of women delivery partners, with a target of at least 20,000 women joining the ranks. To incentivize and support these women driver-partners, the company offers a special joining bonus of Rs 2,000 along with a tailored assurance plan designed to prioritize their safety and well-being.
Recognizing the significance of skill development, Zypp Electric takes a step further by organizing training batches specifically for women. These programs empower women to take on roles such as mechanics or technicians within the maintenance teams, fostering a diverse and skilled workforce in the green mobility sector.
Zypp Electric’s commitment extends beyond its own operations, as the company actively collaborates with NGOs and impact organizations to amplify female representation in the EV sector. This collaborative effort aims to create a more inclusive industry landscape, setting the stage for a future where empowered women riders contribute significantly to the economy, growth, and sustainability.
Rashi Agarwal, Co-Founder & CBO of Zypp Electric, emphasizes the company’s dedication to gender equality and providing equal opportunities. She envisions a future where Zypp Electric leads by example, contributing to a workforce where empowered women play a pivotal role in shaping the future of green mobility.
