Tesla Enters TEXAS

Elon Musk announced the production commencement at Tesla’s new Giga Texas plant in Austin on Thursday 7 April 2022. Once it is fully enhanced, Tesla claims that the plant will be the country’s largest factory in the U.S. as to scale and the highest-volume car plant.
While speaking at the event, Musk told that the plant will produce at least 500,000 vehicles per year in the coming years. Initially, it will produce Model Y hatchbacks, with the hard-edged Cybertruck pickup and a new version of the Roadster sports car and Tesla Semi, going into production next year.
“The Model Y line will be the highest-capacity line, I think, of any line in the world. In fact, I’m confident it will be. Half a million units a year in a single factory of one product is the biggest dang thing in the world. This will be the highest volume car factory in America.”Says Musk.
