In a recent regulatory filing, Tata Technologies has announced the appointment of S. Sukanya as its Chief Operating Officer, effective March 6. Sukanya, equipped with an engineering degree in computer science and informatics from Bharathiar University, will join the executive leadership team, overseeing delivery and operations across Tata Technologies businesses.
Having previously served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS), Sukanya brings over 33 years of experience to her new role. Her extensive stint at TCS saw her make significant contributions in various leadership capacities, demonstrating a wealth of expertise in the technology and information sector.
Tata Technologies, listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, is a global product engineering company catering to diverse industries, with a primary focus on the automotive sector.
This appointment follows closely on the heels of the collaboration between Agratas, Tata Group’s global battery business, and Tata Technologies. The collaboration aims to scale Agratas’ product development and enterprise systems, contributing to the design, development, and manufacturing of cutting-edge battery solutions.
