Sundareswaran has been appointed as the Director of Manufacturing and Operations at Kinetic Green, an electric two and three-wheeler manufacturer.
With over three decades of experience, Sundareswaran has previously worked with Ashok Leyland, Switch Mobility Automotive, and TAFE Ltd. In his new role, he will oversee leadership in production, quality assurance, supply chain management, and manufacturing engineering activities.
Having successfully led the establishment of an electric vehicle plant capable of producing 3000 chassis annually, along with a 1000 MW Lithium ION battery manufacturing and charging facilities, Sundareswaran has a track record of launching four new EV products.
Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, expressed confidence in Sundareswaran’s leadership, citing his deep understanding of manufacturing, quality, and sourcing excellence processes. She highlighted his role in driving growth, fostering innovation, and expanding the EV product portfolio.
Kinetic Green, the electric vehicle arm of the Kinetic Group, is in the final stages of raising around $30 million or Rs 250 crore from external investors for its expansion plans. The company aims to close the fundraising within the next quarter. Sulajja Firodia Motwani stated that despite generating about Rs 300 crore in business by selling a modest number of electric two and three-wheelers in 2023, the company targets a turnover exceeding Rs 1000 crore in FY25.
