Rolls-Royce has formalised a long-term agreement with Azad Engineering to produce and deliver intricate components for defense aircraft engines.
Within this enduring commitment, Azad Engineering, based in Hyderabad, will undertake the manufacturing and supply of complex components for defense aircraft engines, thereby integrating into the global supply chain for complex category components essential for Rolls-Royce’s advanced aero-engines.
Alex Zino, Executive Vice President – Business Development and Future Programmes and Head of Global Networks at Rolls-Royce, remarked, “Strong collaboration has been pivotal to Rolls-Royce’s success journey in India. As we endeavor to fortify the defense ecosystem, we are pleased to expand our supply chain in India through partnership with Azad Engineering.”
Abhishek Singh, Senior Vice President – Defence, India and South-East Asia, Rolls-Royce, emphasised, “The sourcing of complex components from India for aero engine programs further advances the objective of capability creation within the country.”
