Minda Corporation, the flagship company of Spark Minda, has formed a Joint Venture (JV) in collaboration with HSIN Chong Machinery Works Co. Ltd. (HCMF) from Taiwan, a prominent global manufacturer of automotive sunroof and closure systems. This partnership’s primary goal is to bring advanced technology and cutting-edge manufacturing of sunroof and closure products for passenger cars to the Indian market. The joint venture will provide a comprehensive system solution, encompassing the design, development, and manufacturing of sunroofs for passenger vehicles. The company has stated that due to evolving consumer preferences toward premium features, the Indian sunroof market is anticipated to grow to a value of US$500 – 600 mln by 2030.
