The program’s objective is to identify promising startups and assess the potential strategic application of their innovative technologies.
Startups have the opportunity to apply for one of seven global projects initiated by Hyundai Motor Group’s internal teams, categorized under three main themes: two projects on Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV), two projects on Smart Factory, and three projects on Environmental Social Governance (ESG). Each startup can only apply to one specific project.
The Group’s technology development organizations are directly engaged in reviewing and selecting applicants for each project. Only registered corporations are eligible for consideration and can submit their proposals via the official application website from February 19 to March 10. Results will be announced in April.
Selected startups will receive a project development budget ad in 96 startups receiving equity investments from the Group.
In the previous year, three global startups were chosen and are currently participating in collaborative projects focused on lithium metal batteries, teleoperation, and cold-spray metal 3D printing solutions.
