Hyundai Motor India has teamed up with True Assistive Technology, based in Bangalore, known for developing internationally standardized assistive technology products to support individuals with disabilities. Through this partnership, Hyundai will introduce accessible car seat solutions aimed at aiding senior citizens and individuals with mobility challenges.
As part of its commitment to inclusivity, Hyundai has also introduced the Samarth mobility initiative, catering specifically to differently-abled individuals. This initiative includes making Hyundai outlets and offices more accessible to individuals with special needs, along with providing specially engineered vehicles.
Yong Goon Park, Managing Director of Hyundai Mobis, expressed the significance of the accessible car seat solutions developed by True Assistive Technology in enhancing travel and quality of life for those with mobility issues in the Indian automotive market. He emphasized Hyundai’s dedication to promoting the rights and well-being of people with disabilities, aiming to eliminate barriers and ensure their complete and equal participation in all aspects of life, especially during the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
