The owner of the burned-out electric scooter received a full refund from the company. The vehicle was returned to Pradeepan, a resident of Chedi Road, Hosdurg police control centre, and was worth Rs 89,000. On July 7th, the scooter that was parked next to Hozdurg court on the side of the road caught fire.
The scooter took fire and caught fire shortly after Pradeep stepped off of it. Pradeepan was told by technicians from Palakkad who examined the vehicle that the fire might have been started by a short circuit.
