Arenq, a prominent player in the energy storage battery sector, has established a new manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra.
Earlier this year, the company revealed its expansion strategy for India, earmarking an investment of Rs 28 crore for the creation of the Pune manufacturing plant. The newly constructed facility, boasting a fully automated production setup, will cover an impressive area of 80,000 square feet. It will complement Arenq’s existing manufacturing capabilities at its Nandurbar plant in Maharashtra.
As a result of this expansion, Arenq anticipates a substantial increase in its total production capacity, reaching 200MW.
