The Stellantis Group, a major European automobile manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Aditya Jairaj as the new Deputy Managing Director of Stellantis India, effective May 4. In his new role, Jairaj will also lead the Jeep brand’s operations in the country, further strengthening the company’s operations in India.
With over 17 years of experience in the automotive sector, Jairaj brings a wealth of expertise to his new position. He previously served as the Head of EV Strategy and Transformation for Nissan and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, a Master’s degree in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick, and an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
According to Roland Bouchara, CEO & Managing Director, Stellantis India, Jairaj’s extensive experience and managerial skills will strengthen the company’s operations and contribute to Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 plans for India and the region. Bouchara added that the India strategy is a critical element of the company’s localisation efforts in the region and transforming the mobility landscape in India through their two-pronged brand approach.
With Jairaj at the helm, Stellantis Group’s India operations are poised to achieve new levels of success as they work towards their innovative Dare Forward 2030 plans to revolutionize the mobility sector in India and the region.
