Stellantis India has announced the appointment of Aditya Jairaj as its new Managing Director and CEO, effective January 1, 2024. Aditya Jairaj, previously the Head of Jeep India, will succeed Roland Bouchara, who led Stellantis in India for six and a half years. Roland Bouchara will transition to a different role within the company based in Europe. Aditya Jairaj expressed his honor in leading Stellantis in India and is dedicated to fostering growth, innovation, and sustainable progress.
Roland Bouchara, the outgoing CEO & MD, Stellantis India, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the extraordinary company and expressed excitement about Stellantis India’s continued path toward a bold and dynamic future.
Stellantis currently operates three manufacturing plants in India and retails SUVs under the Jeep brand, including Compass, Meridian, Wrangler, and the Grand Cherokee. The Citroen brand offers models such as the C5 Aircross, C3 Aircross, C3 hatchback, and the eC3 electric counterpart.
