Arbor Metals Corp. has unveiled the formation of a specialized division aimed at cultivating strategic partnerships within Canada’s rapidly expanding electric vehicle (EV) sector. The collaboration between the federal and provincial administrations, involving a combined investment of $644 mln, serves as a clear demonstration of their resolve to reinforce Canada’s role in the EV domain. The upcoming Ford plant in Bécancour, Quebec, is positioned to manufacture crucial battery components for electric vehicles, solidifying Canada’s emergence as a global frontrunner in sustainable transportation.
Mark Ferguson, Arbor’s President and CEO, stated, “The Canadian automotive landscape is undergoing a transformative phase, marked by a strong emphasis on EV manufacturing and the establishment of a resilient supply chain.
